I’m an incoming freshman (Fall 2026) for the Denton campus and I just had some confusion regarding the roommate system on the Starrez portal.

Am I supposed to message someone first? Join a group? Add them to mine?

I did try messaging someone I was interested in but got no response which isn’t a problem but I’d rather cover all my bases than keep going in blind and ending up without a roomie I’d get along with.
