Sol Ruca, getting called up to Raw, needed to feel important immediately, and, honestly, Becky Lynch might be the best possible first feud WWE could’ve given her.

The biggest issue with a lot of NXT call-ups is that they show up, wrestle random matches for a few weeks, and fans don’t really have a reason to care. Sol Ruca can’t fall into that trap because she already has something unique: insane athleticism, confidence, and highlight-reel offense that stands out instantly. That’s where Becky comes in.

Becky Lynch is basically an instant credibility boost for anyone she works with. The moment you’re put into a real storyline with her, it automatically feels important because of her star power and status in the division. Sol doesn’t need months of build if WWE puts her right in front of one of the biggest names on Raw. The feud itself becomes the introduction. At the same time, Becky benefits too.

She just finished a feud with AJ Lee, and at this point in her career, Becky works best against opponents who feel fresh. Sol Ruca brings a completely different energy than most of the women on Raw right now. Her offense, especially the Sol Snatcher, gives the feud a visual hook immediately, and her flashy athletic style contrasts perfectly with Becky’s veteran presence and character work.

What makes the pairing interesting is that Sol doesn’t even need to outtalk Becky right away. She can play the fearless newcomer who isn’t intimidated by the biggest name in the division yet. That dynamic alone creates intrigue. And with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship involved, it gives the feud even more weight.

If WWE handles this correctly, this shouldn’t just be a quick filler program for Becky. This should be Sol Ruca’s real arrival story on the main roster. A feud where Becky tries to humble the newcomer, while WWE quietly introduces the audience to a future star.

We should have gotten one last year and in 2023, too. Last year's Summerslam was the perfect time for that. I actually anticipated the cause of the Becky, Bayley, and Lyra feud, and the cause of the fact that the feud literally started when Becky put Bayley out of the Mania match, so it should’ve been the SummerSlam match.

Their chemistry IS THERE. They just need some time in that ring; they'll steal the show.
