Just sold my Commander and am on the hunt for a more work based SxS. One of the things I really didn’t like about the Commander was how loud it was. I’m interested in the enclosed cab Defender HD9 but I also drove my friend’s CF Moto and it was incredibly quiet. I’m thinking something along those lines. Just curious what opinions are for some of the quieter rigs out there.
I‘m starting to look into a rooftop tent and I had no idea of the overwhelming number of options out there. I’d like to be able to fit two people and one kiddo, I’m pretty tall (6’6”) and I‘d like something that’s quick and easy to set up and take down. I want to be comfortable but I don’t need a living room on top of my truck. Looking at the Naturnest Sirius 1 plus xl or maybe a used Thule Tepui. Just wondering what people‘s thoughts are for my situation and if there’s any advice for a newbie trying to get into this without breaking the bank. Thanks for any input!
