World Map

The Year is 1865.. With world tension rising across the world, it wasn't a secret that another great war would commence.

However, this war will shape how the world will look like, in the next following decades.

This war will be the biggest, most deadliest conflict known to man. And it will be called, the Great War.

Two factions fight against each other, ACTO and Cerulean, but only one will rise from the shadows.

As countries mobilize, a blank shot is fired in France.

The great war.

Current Conflicts:

War of 1863 (U.K. vs U.S.A.): Fort Garry has fallen to American forces, who now push north along the shore of lake Winnipeg in an attempt to link up with the Seventh Army driving through Saskatchewan. British forces meanwhile reclaim ground in Northern British Columbia. Around Lake Superior, the front has stabilized with Thunder Bay holding against First Army pressure. Australian Independence War (U.K. and Russia vs Australia): Russian forces have established beachheads at Cape York, Adelaide and Gold Coast following coordinated Baltic Fleet landings along the Australian coastline. Central African Civil War (Central Africa vs Mozambique, Spain and Portugal): In the Union of Central Africa, pro-Spanish forces have taken over Mozambique after Madrid announced its intention to fold back the territory into the Spanish Empire. u/challengerun23YOMEST

ACTO(making up of Brazil, France, Netherlands, Spain, USA, Austria, Germany, Louisiana, Sweden-Norway) Cerulean(UK, Russia, Mexico, CSA, Japan, Colombia, HME(some members))

- German Confederation is established currently making up of Austria and Germany.

- Austria created trucks(and yes i know the saudis did this too)

- Austria signed non agression pacts with italy and russia.

- Suez Canal was completed

- Costa Rican Canal was completed

- A new flag of Costa Rica established

- New flags for British Colonies

- The Scandinavian Confederation was formed

The Taiping Revolt: On the mainland, the revolt has been completely extinguished. The Chinese Navy has secured a beachhead on Taiwan, but the rebels have dug in, making any further push extremely costly. Hainan, however, is still firmly in rebel hands. u/Blu3engine2

War of 1863 (U.K. vs U.S.A.): The American advance in Ontario stalls against Canadian recruits, though British Columbia surrenders to the United States. The Hudson's Bay Company refuses American terms, with Canadian forces launching a surprising counter-incursion into Northern Montana and Dakota. In the Caribbean, the U.S. Navy secures the British Antilles and British Honduras but fails to take the Mosquito Coast. Australian Independence War (U.K. and Russia vs Australia): With Japan turning its attention away from the region, British forces - freshly reinforced, have managed to strengthen their grip over Southern and Western Australia, several advances have been made. The Fall of the Ottoman Empire (Russia, Spain and Greece vs the Ottoman Empire): Thanks to Spanish naval support, Greece has managed to completely evict the Ottoman Empire from Europe after several centuries of presence. Meanwhile, the Russian Black Seat Fleet has orchestrated landings securing the Bosphorus and Dardanelles for itself while putting pressure on Constantinople. u/Striking_Road979 ; u/challengerun23YOMEST

Iberian War (Spain vs. Portugal): In Iberia, after initial setbacks, the Spanish Army in the South has managed to push deep into Portuguese territory capturing Evora and directly threatening Lisbon while the Northern army has broken Portuguese lines and advance rapidly toward the Atlantic Ocean. Across the globe, the Spanish navy has proven victorious, capturing Goa and the Azores as well as the Dodecanese Islands. Seeing the defeat of Portugal as inevitable and sensitive to the Spanish cause, the Emperor of Brazil has decided to break the union with Portugal, recalling his troops from the frontline, giving another blow to a already struggling empire. u/challengerun23YOMEST ; u/Small-Issue2442 ; u/DeicideForDummies

- France has successfully produced its first prototype of the 'Zeplin'. Could another revolution of how wars are fought be silently brewing in Paris?

- Persia has signed several economic treaties, positioning the country as a important hub of global trade.

- The European powers, most notably Germany are working toward developping their own energy generator, evening the recent technological gap between East and West.
