I genuinely want to bring the quiz fever back again.

Me and my co-founder built Quelo because we missed when trivia apps actually felt competitive, social and addictive like the old QuizUp days.

From cricket and Bollywood to anime, sitcoms, movies and more, the idea is simple:
compete, challenge friends, climb leaderboards and have fun testing your knowledge again.

I loved QuizUp so much that we ended up building our own version inspired by it

Like a lot of people here, I was genuinely obsessed with QuizUp and never really found another trivia app that captured the same competitive feeling after it shut down.

So me and my co-founder started building one ourselves.

We’ve been working on it for a long time and finally launched it a few days back. It’s called Quelo.

The goal wasn’t to clone QuizUp, but to bring back that feeling of competing with real people in topics you genuinely care about, whether that’s cricket, movies, sitcoms, anime, football, math, Bollywood or random knowledge.

Right now the app is completely free. No locked features, no subscriptions, just play, compete and give feedback.

What we really want is to build this together with people who genuinely loved QuizUp, because honestly this community understands better than anyone what made it special.

Things we’d genuinely love feedback on:
• What made QuizUp addictive for you?
• What modern quiz apps still get wrong?
• What features would make you keep playing daily?
• What kind of monetisation would actually feel fair to users?
