Ear infection prone and sensitive stomachs

Hi everyone. I’m hoping to get some help one dog food recommendations for my 5 and 7 year old labs, who are big muscular boys, but have issues with sensitive stomachs and one is prone to ear infections bad. They have the same dad, different mom.

We’ve tried what feels like every brand but a few. We’re pretty sure our 7 year old has a chicken allergy as well, so we take our chicken for the both of them. The issue is that we’ve tried so many after them being on each on for months and none seem to be the right fit. They’ve been on purina pro plan sensitive, authority, taste of the wild, Costco ancient grains, all of the most recents. They are currently in wholesome large breed sensitive skin and stomach salmon meal, but apparently that’s not a pretty good quality food, which is what I would like. With PPP the bowl movements and price was insane. For 2 of them and having the 5 year old get 3 cups a day and the 7 year old getting a little less then 2.5, it’s a lot of food. I want something good for them that will help with all of these sensitivities, but won’t break the bank.

Has anyone else had a similar issue with foods? I always want them to be on the best food we can give them, without spending a fortune like we have in the past. I’d like to stay under 70 a bag if that’s possible for what they need?? We need grains in the food as well.

All help is greatly appreciated!

Extreme chewer lab

Hi! I have a 5 year old yellow lab who literally has jaws of steel. We’ve tried so many things, especially different toys. For some reason, he’s never interested in playing with a Kong unless it has peanut butter, which doesn’t last at all, and once he’s done he won’t touch it again. At this point I’m convinced he could chew through a tire. I like the idea of rubber toys so he doesn’t have issues with breaking teeth or anything, but he literally chews through them all. We’ve gotten frozen raw beef marrow bones from our local butcher but they were fine until the last batch had some splintering pieces(even tho they shouldn’t but somehow did) and he had bad GI issues trying to get himself back to normal, so we’ve stayed away from them since. I’ve heard about antlers, but afraid to try because of the teeth breaking risks, but at this point, I’m at a loss. Is anyone else’s lab like this?? All suggestions are greatly appreciated!
