I'm using FSLTL for models matching on Vatsim, However quite Often I notice blank liveries and the default Embraer Aircraft. I heard about IVAO and AIG models and how dome people are using all of them together at the same time. Do I need to have all three? Or can One rule them all?
Also is it true that AiG have all the FSLTL models plus more? And also is AiG less heavy on the performances compared to FSLTL?
I've seen that the correct way to ask for ur IFR is to state all these following points:
- Callsign / Stand/ AC type/ ATIS / Qnh number
However for some reason I feel it's like I'm bothering the ATC for taking so much time on frequency.
I normally don't state the AC type and qnh number when it's busy. Is that the way or should I always state everything even when it's busy?
I just want to show some love for the mode since everyone is bashing it. Career mode even with all it's quirks, made me understand the basics of radio and ATC. That steeping stone made me finally pursue VATSIM, which I'm so grateful for. I don't think I would ever jump to Vatsim and make my simulator experience as realistic as possible without it.
Bonus: also it's amazing discovering beautiful airport s and sceneries while playing Career.
