Middle Management Woes????Good Secure Job, Good Position, Good Pay/ Bad Manager, Tired of Leading/Motivating, Feel Stuck

I’ve been in my career 20 years, worked in London and US and returned home for a decent gig 8 years ago. Married, house, young family now.
I’ve a stable job, senior position, €85k + salary but feel it’s ran its course and lost passion for what I do as my boss doesn’t give me anything and leaves me to my own devices. I have a team with a few managers but it feels like constantly trying to lead and motivate and I have nothing really behind it.
I’m very lucky and grateful to have a stable job, good salary and flexibility but they’re the only reasons I’m staying where I am based on having a young family and it fits those circumstances.
But do people ever feel stuck, lonely and unmotivated and empty once you reach a certain point in career and it’s a case of riding it out based of the conditions but get no excitement, drive or fulfilment anymore (1st world problems I know!)

What has actually evened the playing field?????

It’s absolutely brilliant to see the likes of Roscommon, Westmeath, Monaghan doing what they’re doing and put it up the the traditional big dogs and coming out on top but what about the new rules has actually brought the chasing packs closer to the old powerhouses??? Fantastic watching and great scenes but curious to more in the know what has levelled things up……….(in terms of new rules, game play etc.) Why weren’t these counties able to challenge to this extent over the last decade when the old rules were in play???

Women’s Rugby @ Aviva - Good Age to Bring??

Looking at tomorrow’s women’s game at the Aviva and it looks like a great family event. Very family friendly and loads to entertain. I can’t wait to bring my kids to sport events regularly but conscious age is if the essence. My oldest is 4 since April and would love to bring her tomorrow as it looks like so a good day out but wondering what ages did parents start bringing there kids to games and that it was enjoyable for them (and the parent to a decent extent too!!!)
