Okay, I bought a home and inherited the vivint system. Everything worked, all cameras, doorbell, sensors, etc. System is paid for. So, I restarted the service and signed a 12 month monitoring plan. As soon as I connected the smart hub to wifi, all cameras go down and lose power.
I have done all the troubleshooting steps on the zinwell devices, etc. Still nothing. I call and try to get support and I am immediately put into a sales pitch and asked to do a credit check to have a tech come out.
I am so frustrated, with this sales pitch bs when I call for support. How dense do you have to be to try to convince a new home owner to run a credit check and try to rope me into a loan for new equipment?
I am about to pull all this shit down pay the early termination and go back to ring. This whole experience as a new customer has been a joke.
If reps browse this sub, do better. Your company just got hit with an FTC pay out and still the deceptive practices continue.
