Got the below build for $2705 with the instant rebate code. Is there any reason why I shouldn't cancel? Sourcing and building myself, the parts alone on PCPartPicker were $3500 and with sales/bundles I could MAYBE get them for $3000 from what I've seen in the past week of me scrounging around. $2500 was my budget for my new build, but I have some wiggle room and $2700 for a R7 9800X3D and RTX 5080 with the convenience of having it prebuilt looked pretty good to me.
The only concerning items I've read about are the High Power brand PSU and the ASUS B850 MOBO. It looks like the PSU will either be SPL B+ or SPL A based on which one they decided to bless me with, but I've seen bad reviews about it. Also, I've seen others say that the ASUS B850 Max Gaming's VRM is terrible for a R7 9800X3D.
I've read that I can only swap out one component based on what others have experienced with CyberPower. I can probably ask to swap the High Power PSU with a CyberCore II or swap the ASUS B850 with the MSI PRO B850-P, which I've heard better reviews about. Any thoughts?
Obviously this sub is filled with criticism on CyberPowerPC and it is greatly concerning me. Should I swap out the concerning parts and continue with the order? Or should I cancel altogether and try for a different brand/building myself? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Tl;dr Should I cancel my order with CyberPowerPC given their concerning history? Or should I take the current build, but ask if I can swap the concerning parts out for better ones (High Power 1000W ATX 3.0 PSU and the ASUS B850)? And if I am only able to swap one component, which should I do?
