Stripped all my grass. Replacing it with rock. Some little grass sprouts let. What do I do about these?

Is there a sod specific herbicide or something I could spray these with, or a non-herbicide alternative?

Looking to pay $80 for someone to replace this broken back up on on my Ford Maverick.

I have the new light. I just need someone to install it. It requires pulling back ceiling upholstery and work I don’t feel doing. I’ll pay a competent individual $80 to do it.

I’m reading slightly conflicting information on the permeability of artificial turf vs sod. Most things say it permeates and drains faster than real sod, but some things claim that it increases runoff and doesn’t permeate as well. Anecdotes are appreciated.
