Men wanna provide and protect, just not those who disrespect them
Men aren’t scared of providing and protecting, most actually want to. It’s in their nature to build, support, and look after someone they care about. The problem is, that instinct dies real quick when it’s met with disrespect, bitterness, and constant negativity. Why would any man go all in for someone who belittles him, doesn’t appreciate him, and treats him like he’s replaceable? Providing isn’t just about money, it’s about effort, loyalty, and protection but that’s earned through mutual respect. You can’t expect “traditional” treatment while acting entitled, causing issues, being disrespectful and an entirely disgusting human being that doesn’t even like the man. Respect goes both ways, or don’t be surprised when he keeps his effort to himself and gives it to someone that actually likes him.
