A much needed step by Min. Of Railways because 3 lines was a massive choke point for all the EMU, express and freight trains were moving in this section.

Located in Nagpur, this flat crossing (or level junction) is a rare infrastructure point where the New Delhi–Chennai and Howrah–Mumbai mainlines intersect at a nearly 90° angle.
Technically, it consists of a specialized layout of frogs and check rails that allow wheel flanges to jump the gaps of the intersecting rails without a physical switch or turnout. While often colloquially referred to as a "diamond" due to the geometric shape formed by the four rail intersections, it functions as a fixed-point crossing that does not allow trains to transition between the two lines.
