UNABLE TO CONNECT TO SAME WIFI

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an app called PXPlay for Remote Play on my PlayStation 5. However, I’ve been running into an issue consistently. I keep getting a message saying that it’s unable to connect to the same WiFi network (I’ve attached a screenshot for reference).

I’ve heard a lot of great things about this app, but ever since I bought it, I’ve only been facing problems. It’s possible that I might have some settings configured incorrectly. I’m currently using it on an Android tablet.

If anyone has faced a similar issue or knows what might be going wrong, I’d really appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance!

"PS5 DISCONNECTED "

Hey everyone, I’m facing an issue with PX Play (remote play for PS5) and could really use some help.

I’ve purchased and installed the app, and it does connect , I can briefly see my PS5 screen mirrored on my phone along with the virtual buttons. But the moment I press any button on my DualSense controller, it immediately says “PS5 disconnected,” and I have to reconnect again.

This keeps happening every single time.

Has anyone else faced this problem? Any fixes or suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

PS5 HARDWIRED TO ETHERNET

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to hardwire my PlayStation 5, but my router is in a different room so running a direct LAN cable isn’t practical. I was thinking of using a Wi-Fi extender/booster that has an Ethernet port, and then connecting that to my PS5 via LAN.

Could you please suggest which exact extender or booster works best for this purpose? I’m mainly looking for something stable with minimal lag, especially for gaming.

If anyone has experience with this kind of setup, I’d really appreciate your recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

PS5 HARDWIRED TO ETHERNET

Hi everyone, I’m planning to connect my PlayStation 5 via Ethernet for a more stable, lag-free experience. However, my router is in a different room, so running a direct LAN cable isn’t very convenient. I was considering using a Wi-Fi extender/booster that has an Ethernet port, and then connecting a LAN cable from the extender to my PS5. My question is, will this setup actually give me a stable, low-latency connection similar to a proper wired setup? Or will it still behave like Wi-Fi with possible lag and spikes? If anyone has tried this or has a better solution (like powerline adapters, etc.), I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance!

HONEST VIEW ON THE LAG

I’m thinking about buying the PlayStation Portal, but I have a very specific concern, I absolutely cannot tolerate any lag, stutters, or connection glitches. I’ll be using it on a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection, so I wanted to ask: even with good internet, do you still experience input lag, screen freezing, or frame drops? For those of you who already own a Portal: How has your overall experience been? Is the gameplay smooth and consistent, or are there noticeable issues? Would you recommend buying it if someone is very sensitive to lag? Also, is it necessary to connect the PS5 to Ethernet for the best performance, or does it work fine over Wi-Fi as well? Would really appreciate honest feedback before I make a decision. Thanks in advance!

LAG DURING REMOTE PLAY

I’ve been facing a lag issue while using my Samsung tablet with a PS DualSense controller during Remote Play. The input delay is quite noticeable and it’s really affecting the experience.

Both my tablet and PlayStation are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and my internet speed is pretty solid , so I don’t think bandwidth is the issue here.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of lag? If yes, how did you fix it? Are there any specific settings, tweaks, or workarounds that helped reduce the input delay?

Would really appreciate any suggestions or insights. Thanks in advance!
