DA/SA vs SAO, worthwhile to run a safety?

Good day 226 family, I'm having a hard to trying to find a reason to use a safety. I love the DA/SA system and can run it well enough to get high A class in USPSA LO (83%) and CO (84%) A class along with IDPA CO master via match bump.

I recently got an X-five Legion and the trigger, I'm sorry to say, is garbage. When I dialed in the overtravel, the firing pin safety wouldn't get defeated. To get the safety defeated, the overtravel and trigger feel was on par with a VP9, not as good as a Canik or Walther, but not as bad as a Glock. It also has a rolling break, which is trash, in my opinion. I tried an armory craft trigger shoe and nothing changed.

As for the DA/SA, the single action reset of my stock 226x and GG trigger 226 Legion have a single action reset that is 1/4 the distance of my x-five legion with 100% reliability. They both have a firm wall and a crispy break, which are attributes my x-five legion lacks.

So are there any reasons to try to pursue a decent SAO 226 platform, or just stick with DA/SA?
