Help from SM

Are store managers legally not allowed to help associates with customers or something??? In my 7 years I’ve only asked a store manager twice to help with a customer in an urgent situation where they were the closest person around who could help and each time I’ve been met with disgust plus the MODs immediately getting irritated and telling me to never do that again. Which every other time I call an MOD but in this situation the first one I called didn’t answer and then the store manager walked by and I just waved him down and ask if he could help one guy really quick while I dealt with a current customer and now it’s a big deal.

Should safety concerns really be told to wait during power hours?

I’m the safety captain and some unsafe pallets were brought to my attention and I was able to get some folks to take them down and get them rewrapped and put back up. I was told by management that they really should’ve waited till after power hours. I’m really conflicted. Accidents don’t just wait to happen. And knowing how this store works they would’ve been forgotten about. What would you do?

So my dishwasher won’t turn on and i don’t think it finished the last cycle fully as it hasn’t drained. The dishes themselves are clean tho. Do you think it might be a blown fuse or maybe it got shifted and unplugged? If I pull it out to check the plug will it get even more screwed up??
I believe it’s a Bosch SHE53C86N
EDIT: it’s a SHE46C06UC so it’s like 20yrs old 😭
