Anyone have a working method for creating an Apple iCloud account? Every attempt leads to a phone number verification. Any alternatives without the phone number?

I did successfully create one but cannot sign into a MacBook without the phone number verification

Using an existing trusted phone number from another Apple account resulted in “your account could not be updated because of an error.”

I May be in possession of 90-100 HD-dvd disks. Is there something I should be considering or preparing before ripping all of them?

Is it even possible with makeMKV?

Update: seems like a mixed bag of bang for buck, and bad luck. Some disks may rot, others may not read via makesMKV & a special HDdvd player (Xbox 360) is required to read them. It’s a gamble at a price that is not worth pursuing. Thanks everyone for the input. If things change, I’ll update.

Question: uploading discontinued media to archive.org is against ToS, right?
