This was a pretty cool model to paint #raudkarthebeast is definately a hefy #warhammer unit, but I was not really very keen on the little Dobby things following him around, or the dripping blood, so I stripped this away in favour of adding some #objectsourcelighting to his hands and surroundings.

Reworked the base a little so I could work some further osl into it around the printed parts from #epicbasing

Overall a satisfying project, and this one looks a hell of a lot better in the flesh. The coppers and osl come to life on it nicely.

I had an awful lot of back and forth on this one, and am still somewhat undecided on how much I like it. The model is great, but it leans too far to the side in my opinion, I should have straightened it out and modified the base before doing it. A base that has it flying up and over on a smoke stack would be better...

I took off the original blade head, and replaced it with a SG spearhead, some shoulder parts from the BA captain pack and a tiltplate from somewhere else. Added some chains to hide some damage to the surfaces where the icons were glued on. Centurian belt plate on the front of it.

It looks pretty nice in the flesh, but red OSL does not really work so well on Red Armour, so I'll be moving to Flesh Tearers and Death Company I expect (Have just done a Captain and Jump Chaplain)
