IoBM Business Analytics vs ACF - Need honest reviews from seniors/alumni
Hey everyone,
I’m looking into applying at IoBM (CBM) and I’m a bit torn between two programs. Specifically looking at the Business Analytics degree.
Is there anyone here currently doing it or graduated from it? I want to know if the curriculum is actually updated with modern tools (SQL, Python, PowerBI etc) or if it’s just basic Excel and theory. Also, what’s the job market looking like for BA grads in Karachi right now? Is it easy to land remote roles or should I look elsewhere?
Also, how does it compare to ACF (Accounting and Finance) at IoBM? Everyone says ACF is the "safe" bet industry-wise, but I’m worried it might be too repetitive or saturated. Which one has more value in the long run if I want to get into tech or data-driven roles?
Would really appreciate some honest feedback from people who actually go there. Don’t want to waste 4 years on a degree that’s just a "degree" on paper.
