A subreddit for repairing things

Hello! I am looking for a subreddit to help learn how to repair items that aren't clothes. Specifically, I have a Starbucks tumbler that I bought at the thrift store today that has a crack in it. I want to see what I can do to try to fix it! Thank you!

Hello all! I hope it's okay that I post here. I don't have mice myself, but I used to have rats! I am writing a short story for class based around this photo ("Subway Squabble" taken by Sam Rowley) and need some insight around mouse behaviour.

Specifically... with rats, when they are on the defense, they get on their tippy toes and try to look really big and scary, and if that doesn't work, they throw their butt around! I have seen this from time to time when my own rats were trying to get at something tasty like an egg or if i introduced someone new to the mischief. Is this something mice do, too? How do they behave when they're on the defense?

In my story, these mice are going to be fighting over a piece of food, so I am trying to capture them as best I can.

Thank you in advance! Mice are precious and I love them 🥹

I'm going to a reptile show on the weekend and I have a bin set up, ready and waiting for new occupants! I was initially leaning towards yellow zebras, but being a beginner still, I'm wondering if dairy cows are the way to go? I know they are quite prolific and that their populations tend to boom, so my question is how do you handle that? If the only solution is to cull, then I'll be getting yellow zebras. Do they stop breeding if they feel cramped? Will they fill the tub?

This is not an ad or anything, I bought this like 3 years ago and it still is incredible. This is honestly the best (luxury) purchase I have maybe ever made and it's made such a difference as a night shift worker.

I would like to introduce to you, the BedJet! This thing is amazing. I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment, the AC only really works in the living room and I don't have space for a portable one. Because of this, the bedroom gets really warm in the summer. My BedJet helps SO MUCH. Essentially it is a small AC unit/heater/fan in general for under the blankets!!! In the summer, I have mine blowing cool or cold air at me and it helps so much. In the winter, I get to pre-heat the bed >:) I spend my winter nights at home feeling like a loaf of bread in the oven and it is wonderful.

This paired with our fan and my cooling pillow, surviving the summer heat is so much easier when I have to sleep through it.

Is it spency? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes yes yes yes yes yes YES.

Okay! That is all. Thank you for listening to my TedTalk.
