After rescuing a betta with swim bladder and almost no fins three days ago he hasn’t been eating and I’ve been giving him soaks in Epsom salt water for 10 minutes once a day. How long should I do soaks for. He finally ate a pellet today so I’m having more hope but should I be feeding him while doing these soaks? I’m also having to do a fish in cycle if that’s of any importance.

I posted yesterday about how I rescued a very sick betta from my relative and received good advice. But now I’m wondering why he won’t eat, how to get him to, and how much to feed as he’s in such bad shape. I also believe he has swim bladder so I did an epsom salt soak while I set up his new tank. So tips on feeding and helping his disease would be wonderful!!
