A Positive Avianca Review!
I was a bit nervous because I booked our tickets before I read the horrors of Avianca. I was traveling solo with my two toddlers (LAX -> GUA) and I could not have had a better experience.
Airline put me in row 4 without me asking. This was just behind first class and great for getting on and off the plane with kids.
Seats are slim but not that slim. I’m 5’9” and I was fine.
There was beverage service! Granted it was only once and limited to just a couple options, that was fine by us.
Snack service! They served sandwiches. not great but kept the kids happy. They told me this is a new offering, about a month or so. Free.
Flight attendants went out of their way to help me with my kids. Let me use the first class bathroom, watched one while I went with the other. They were great! Same with the attendants at check-in.
Plane was like new. No TVs but I expected that. Plane was modern and clean.
all in all, it was a great journey!
