am i deluding myself into thinking bsc would work for me?

im 20F, studying for neet. this is my second drop, and i dont think its gonna work this time either. im not going to take another drop for neet or join a dummy bsc clg just for the degree. i filled cuet this year too and will try my best to get in a good one. i really wanted to be a doctor, and so until recently i never looked into options outside of neet. i shortlisted the courses i wanted to do, and after thinking a lot, i felt like bsc biotechnology would work for me. but everything i hear about non mbbs careers that stem out of pcb is just so, disappointing. full of uncertainty, low money, no jobs, and people recommending not to do it. and the point is i completely get that. im worried about it too.

my problem is i feel like i am overreaching. like "these people just didnt try hard enough and ill try harder than them" type thing. that they chose it out of reluctance becuase they couldn't get into what they wanted and so they were already negative about this course, while to me it feels somewhat like liberation after neet, even if it hurts. when i think of doing bsc biotechnology i imagine giving it my all, doing well in clg, staying on top of labs, hustling for internships and upskilling alongside. that ill learn coding (which i dont know anything about btw) and excel and basic data analysis and itd put me apart. using it as a base degree then working hard to get into msc or pivot if i want to. that somehow it would work for me. i feel like im deluding myself hard.

people are sad when they opt for this. im happy. everyone is crying about how stuck they feel, and i fear that is going to be me in a few years, but its going to hurt more because i feel so hopeful about it now. please tell me if this is cope. please tell me if its otherwise - if bsc did work out for you. is there a future here? what is the reality?
