What do I do? AIO? PLEASE HELP!
I recently moved into an apartment the end of last summer, I(M21) rented this place since its close to campus for me. So next to my apartment is another one that shares a wall with my living room, so I can basically hear everything even footsteps. My neighbors are a young couple with a kid that I estimate to be about 7-8 years old, a corgi and I believe recently a baby. At the beginning I didnt really mind them, my first interaction with them was probably when I went out to my patio and was met with the corgi running up to me and barking, they didnt really do much just watched but i brushed it off. Idk if this is relevant to the situation but the dad is korean and the mom is african american they seem to be in their mid 20’s. First it started with just hearing their loud footsteps but I realized that everyones footsteps were loud so it was fine, and then eventually the corgi would bark throughout the whole day to night, they also slam their door when they come in and come out (I always make sure to stop it before it slams and quietly close it), they started banging as well randomly at night it seems like hes building/fixing something, one of the incidents that really started making me pay attention to these people was one night there was a lot of banging late at night and so I went out my apartment to check it out and then the dog started barking, while I started to walk back to my door I immediately heard the dad start hitting the corgi hard like yk when korean people get mad and like sigh and say stuff like “aish”, well thats all i heard from him continuously striking the dog and the dog starting to whimper, another recent incident was that their dog bit my gf when I was not home atm when she was trying to get home which really pissed me off and now that brings us to today. For context each person gets their own sorta storage unit in the basement where the laundry is, so when I went to get something that day I saw that there was a pipe leaking into my stuff and it ruined somethings that I had to throw away, well today I was told by the maintenance guy that it was from a broken sink pipe from the neighbors that bursted most likely 2-3 weeks ago that they chose not to report so now im even more pissed, also apparently they didnt really seem to care or feel bad at all. I honestly dont know what to do maybe I can do something back to them, anyone have advise? And let me know if I am overreacting please!
