HELPPPPP PLZZZ

Did anyone graduate (or currently studying) Annenberg COM Management program! Isn’t it too vague, broad? What do you work or where? Are you satisfied? Do you think it’s a good program? ( those who are in or completed already)!

Also, if I’m already accepted to Annenberg, can I change the school prior starting the semester (summer term), or at least change the major?

I’d greatly appreciate any feedback you have 🥹❤️🙏

MA loan? Worth it?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently admitted to USC Annenberg (MA program) and honestly I’m really excited about it! I’ve heard amazing things about the school, the network, and post-grad opportunities. At the same time, I’m feeling a bit stuck on the financial side and would really appreciate honest input from current students or alumni. For context: I’m an immigrant and basically on my own here, so I’m financing my studies mostly through federal loans (Direct + Grad PLUS). Since there aren’t many scholarship options in my case, the total cost of attendance turns into a pretty significant loan amount. My main question is: is it actually worth taking on this level of debt for this MA at USC?

I keep hearing mixed opinions; some say the ROI and network make it manageable long-term, while others say the debt burden is heavy unless you land a strong-paying role fairly quickly after graduation. If you’ve done this program (or something similar at USC), I’d really appreciate hearing your experience:

Did you feel the degree was worth the debt?

How manageable were loan repayments after graduation?

Did USC realistically help with job placement or career growth?

If you could go back, would you still take the loans?

I’m trying to make a very grounded decision here, not just go off excitement or fear.

Thanks in advance to anyone who shares honestly. It genuinely helps a lot 🙏🙏🙏
