Posting this here because I feel like this is where I’ll be seen. I’ve been honest that I liked talking to him but would like to end the conversation because I can’t even ask for his name without feeling like I’m taking something from him given the anonymity of the platform. That was me lowkey asking for his name, but I guess he wanted to keep the anonymity intact. He was comfortable talking to strangers, and I could only do so for a short amount of time. Longer than necessary is taking a toll in my heart, so I knew I had to end it right there to protect myself.

I miss talking to him, but can someone affirm that I made the right decision to cut ties from the beginning?
