I joined this sub thinking it’s about feminism for INDIA.

Irrespective of religion, caste, I stand for feminism.

However, in the last two days I am noticing that posts here have suddenly started to highlight lack of feminism in a certain religion by exemplifying cases in other countries.

I believe no religion supports feminism. Also, I don’t see much difference between right wing pro-religion groups of the countries ideas of how a woman should be and Taliban rules for instance.

Could we focus on issues in the country instead of bringing up how there’s no feminism in USA or Iran or Afghanistan. If you are part of this group, ideally you should be focused on improving feminist rights in the country and not comparing with who’s worse off and where.

Hi everyone,

I struggling a bit with health issues. Unfortunately, I have been a sick person all my life, since birth. Something or other keeps on happening and there’s usually very few months that I can call myself healthy.

I am usually not depressed about these and have built my own coping mechanisms. I joke around and make fun and make the best of my life always. I also don’t want to complain of my life as I had lot of good things happen to me too.

Lately, I am a bit overwhelmed with my issues. Things were just falling into place when something started happening again.

I need suggestions for books where protagonist struggles but sees through the positives and builds a happy life.
