My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up and she’s really into knitting. She’s mentioned she prefers metal/steel needles (not wooden), and said “nice ones are like £100”.

I don’t know anything about knitting — I think she currently just has cheaper/basic needles and I want to upgrade her to something really good.

From what I’ve seen, interchangeable circular needle sets seem like the way to go, but not sure which brands are best.

Does anyone have recommendations for:

Best metal interchangeable sets?

Brands worth spending on (Addi, KnitPro, ChiaoGoo etc?)

Anything to avoid?

Happy to spend around £80–£120 if it’s worth it.
