I'm using chenille for the first time, and doing yarn under for the first time. It's (hopefully) going to be an owl when I'm done. Which is the wrong side and which is the right side? I need to BLO for my next round so I'm stuck. Thanks for your help!
I'm hoping this might be a good place to ask this question. I'm in the US and backed Emerland on Kickstarter. I got one of the bigger more expensive packages. I keep seeing you all playing this game and I'm worried I haven't gotten an email or anything saying mine has shipped. I know they sent out an update saying 86% fulfilled in the US, so other people haven't gotten it yet. But I'm nervous about not receiving it. I checked my pledge manager confirmation email and the address is correct.
For those who got their shipment, did you get an email ahead of time saying it shipped? Is there a way for me to check where my game is in their fulfillment process? Anyone else out there feeling left out of the fun right now?
I really want to make these cute critters, plus others that I bought from this seller on Etsy. But I'm not sure about the yarn. I've never used chenille before and I've heard horror stories about how awful it is to work with. I'd consider myself slightly better than beginner, but definitely not intermediate. I've done a couple Woobles, several scarfs, a couple half finished blankets (I swear I'll finish them... someday) and some coasters.
So my questions are:
I strongly suspect I'll need to frog at several points. Have you used Wolan's Bunny Baby yarn or KingCole Yummy yarn? Does it work up easily? If not chenille, what type of yarn should I be looking for?
I'm in the US. There's a Michael's and Hobby Lobby by me, but not really anything else. Any online stores that you'd recommend?
