What’s your favorite thing to see when driving?
I love when people just do the right thing. When someone signals early to indicate them slowing down, the person behind moves over a lane, then the turner only slows down a lot once they’re out of the road, it just makes me so happy.
I also love fast drivers; I had a white hyundai keep up with my quite fast pace, including in corners, while not distracted or riding my bumper. It gives me such a smile to see someone taking on my challenge of keeping pace, whether they’re doing it intentionally or not.
What’s worse, forgetting a lyric or mistiming?
I feel like mistiming, because singing something before it happens looks dumb, then you have to do it again at the right time
It seems like the arguments for contingency and related ones are compelling, and many atheist explanations are baseless or illogical. The 2 strongest (generally) arguments against theism are divine hiddenness and the problem of evil, which Deism doesn't have to deal with. So for someone who just wants an explanation while being agnostic to everything else, it seems like a reasonable endpoint.
I see it as defining God, not proving God. "The greatest possible thing would exist, not just be a thought, therefore it does exist." But who's to say this greatest being does exist? Sure, nothing is greater than God, and it would have to exist to be the greatest conceivable thing, but that doesn't mean it does. Just because you could conceive of something greater as it doesn't exist doesn't mean that this next greater thing exists either.
In the end of this "Doesn't mean it exists > so there's something greater > greater would exist > doesn't mean that it does exist" loop, you just end up defining God and nothing else.
For the 10+ people who recommended bass players and type O negative, read the post before you suggest a bass-playing singer or the one I specifically mentioned I don't like.
I can just barely pull of low baritone singers, but I do bass comfortably. Using AI, every typical recommendation like Jim Morrison is too high for me, but it goes straight from that to Peter Steele, except all his songs are massively sexual. Johnny Cash is comfortable for me, but I like late 70s-80s songs, and he's way too slow for me.
