New Sub Alert!

New sub for afab people!

So, I've noticed Reddit lacks a safe space for afabs! Since afab_venting is near empty, all of the major trans, female, and feminist subs have started allowing big, hairy amabs rather than being exclusively for delicate afab transmasc bois such as myself ❤️. We need a space to discuss our shared afabness without the prying ears and eyes of amabs. So, fellow afabs, please join me on r/afab_only 😊!!!

Remember, gender and sex are different! It's really important to have separate gender and sex spaces. Excluding trans ““women”” from an all-female space while including tbois is not transphobic and bioessentialist. After all, everybody knows you can change gender, not sex! I support transfems but I'm so sick of amabs pretending they have the same experiences & struggles as us afabs, like misogyny, assault, infertility, sex and relationship issues, and the joys of having a vagina! We just can't talk about those things in subs crawling with amabs!

Transmasc afabs do belong in afab safe spaces btw, no matter how much you change your body you'll never lose your unique queer afab experiences ❤️! Unlike amabs, we still have periods! We have breasts and wear bras! It's important all of us afabs remember, tbois can have pregnancy scares too! (and we’ll help remind you of that! All! The! Time!)

Trans women can go to amab inclusive spaces with the other biological males! It's important that afabs have a safe space to express our afably feelings!

And no, this ISN’T a thinly veiled attempt to create a terf hub that Reddit won't ban cause it's couched in inclusive language! Transmascs, tbois, and other valid masculine (afab) women are 100% welcome

Not getting phallo for a few years but I’ll be on Aetna for the foreseeable future. I've seen a lot of not-great posts here about Aetna denying out of network surgeons, which I'm terrified of because I plan on going to Celtik (Crane center) and they are not in network with Aetna.

Anyone have success going out of network with Aetna? Specifically Crane Center? I just want to hear positive stories so I can stop worrying about this
