So I (17M) have been living with SRS for the previous 5 months undiagnosed since no one in Poland knows this condition.
Since I have to travel abroad I will try to get the surgery after I finish high school one year from now.
Do you guys have any tips how to make things easier?
Does it fully restore the mobility and stop the "slipping"? Sorry if it's a dumb question
So for the last four months everytime I turn around, lean down or I press my diaphragm while laying down I feel my ribs on the left side clicking (or at least I think it's the ribs).
In the hospital they told me it was bruised and in a week I would be fine. Since then I had several examinations and everyone told me I'm healthy. I also took physiotherapy for a month (specifically laser therapy, magnetic field therapy and massages). It did not help
I live in Poland where nobody seems to know this condition. Next week I have an appointment with a cardiothoracic surgeon and it's my last hope I get diagnosed.
It heavily impacts my mental health and I can't see myself getting over it.
