The Star Fox Direct looks pretty impressive. I don't have any interest in combat games, but if I did, I might be tempted.

Instead, I'll be sticking with NMS on my OG Switch. Which is a good thing because I'd hate to bust my budget by buying a Switch 2 (even before the price goes up in a few months) plus the game itself, which I'm guessing will be around $70-$80 (USD).

In addition to the bugfixes I noted here, the following fixes are in beta test and haven't yet been released.

  • Fixed an issue that caused certain icons to be missing when viewed through the analysis visor.
  • Fixed an issue where certain icons displayed the incorrect image when viewed through the Cyclops Scope.
  • Fixed an issue that caused mission markers to disappear when not in focus.
  • Fixed an issue that caused mission markers not to show up after completing a scan in Target Sweep Mode.
  • Fixed a text issue which incorrectly described oxygen plants as "sodium rich" in the Analysis Visor.

Reading the tea leaves, I think that HG is planning on 6.35 being the "final" bugfix update for Xeno Arena. It looks like they're holding all of their fixes until they're comfortable that no more bugs (that are worth fixing) will be coming in.

If my tasseography happens to be correct, that would mean that whenever we get 6.35 we should be caught up with the other platforms. So, mid-May most likely.

On the darker side, though, this might also indicate that an expedition is waiting in the wings. In which case we might find 6.40 suddenly muddying the cross-save and cross-play waters.

Or, I could be really, really wrong. That occasionally happens when one is reading tea leaves.
