I’m halfway through my probation period (Com. Coord title) and was browsing other open positions. I came across a position (at another agency too) that offers higher pay and is way more in alignment with my experience. Is it worth it to apply since I’ve only been with the city only three months? What is the likelihood of my agency finding out I already applied elsewhere? I’m realizing it’s really “all man for themselves” in city positions, so I really don’t want to miss out on opportunities, but again, still on probation.
