Hot Pot Ingredients
My boyfriend and I recently made our own HotPot at Home, having only seen videos and wanting to try it. We both loved it and are planning another in a few weeks. There are no asian markets around us so the majority of ingredients are English alternatives or found in normal stores. I managed to get some Ricecakes. Hunting down some lotus root.
I wondered if there's any ingredients that you can make, like dumplings etc
I've seen miscellaneous balls in some... not sure what they are.
Or ingredients you just must include.
Previous hot pot was mostly a tomato, onion and chilli broth (with stock and lots of spices), prawns, Sliced beef, baby sweetcorn, mangetout, broccoli sprouts, mushrooms, boiled eggs, peppers, boyfriend also dunked ham and cheese in for funsies. Served with rice.
