Sienna Naturals is now using Phenoxyethanol

long time lurker, first time poster and i am outraged! sienna naturals is Black women-owned haircare brand with the promise of safe, toxic-free haircare for Black people, and they're now using phenoxyethanol in their products (dna scalp serum).

i've had issues with them before not being as transparent as they try to seem (ask me the the drama about their original curl cream bottles), so this shouldn't be as shocking as it is. but here i am, shocked!

i'm sure they looked at other Black-owned brands and said, 'well they're using it too!'. we just really can't have anything good, can we?

after being a sienna naturals loyalist for at least five years now, i'm going to have to move my money elsewhere. aside from this, what started as a lux experience, the brand lately feels kind of cheap... has anyone had good luck with innersense, specifically in terms of hydration?
