Bought a "256GB" Samsung SD card on Flipkart. It's actually 26GB. Samsung confirmed it's fake. Flipkart closed my complaint citing 7-day policy.
I had ordered a Samsung Evo Plus 256GB MicroSDXC from Flipkart for ₹2,718. The card arrived, looked legit, packaging and everything.
Got suspicious and ran F3 (Fight Flash Fraud) on it. Turns out the card physically only has 26GB of real storage. Everything written beyond that is completely corrupted and unreadable. Ran the test twice, same result both times.
Contacted Samsung. They confirmed in writing that the product is not a genuine Samsung product.
Took that confirmation to Flipkart and asked for a refund. They bounced me to the Samsung service centre. Samsung said to contact Flipkart. Flipkart contacted Samsung themselves, apparently, and then redirected me back to Samsung again.
Filed a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline. And Flipkart's responsed with "Return policy ended on Apr 11, nothing we can do, closing this complaint."
