Can we talk about the vents and climate controls?

The last thing I've yet to come to terms with in my P2 is the @#^@$@# vents. I can't get airflow directed at me!

The vent closest to the driver's door: the left/right adjustment does great for directing full airflow at the door, but as soon as it passes halfway when adjusting it toward me, airflow cuts off (with the knob turned fully open). It adjusts great from the halfway point toward the door, but as soon as its angled toward the driver the airflow from that vent reduces to basically zero.

The center vents on the dash: same thing. even at the lowest angle setting airflow goes over my head (i'm a pretty average 5'10" / 178cm).

Also, I'm unimpressed with the climate "auto" setting - it doesn't seem to adjust the fan speed very well, and I feel like I'm often guessing at the temp to set it at when I want it to be a little cooler or warmer. I'd love a readout of what it thinks the cabin temp is - like if I know the car thinks it's 70F in the cabin I can set it to 68 or 66F to have some gentle cooling. But as it is, I'm making blind adjustments trying to coax out a little cool air... eventually I can dial it in with trial and error but I'm having trouble getting used to it.

This is all with Eco Climate off. Can anyone commiserate or offer some advice?

While I'm here I will say how glad I am that fully opening both front and back door windows makes for nice airflow. In some cars the Helmholtz resonance persists no matter how I have windows opened and there's air vortices at the back of my head messing up my hair and being annoying. Not in my Polestar though! Maybe they actually designed it, or maybe it's a happy accident but i'm extremely thankful. Seems like a small thing but cruising around comfortably with the windows down is a pleasure that I enjoy greatly.
