Komplexität oder Simplismus?

Title says it all I guess. What do you guys prefer in GameDesign? Besonders in den Regeln.

Sollte ein Game die extra Meile machen um noch das letzte bisschen an Detail rauszuholen das man in der Fantasie nutzen kann? Auch wenns die Regeln tricky werden lässt?

Oder is Availability King und das Wichtigste ist, das man sich schnell reinspielen kann?

Bin mal gespannt wer hier in der Mehrheit ist :o

Should a game go the extra Mile for Depth&Detail, even if it makes the Rules a bit more complex and tricky?

Or is Availability King, and you want to be able to understand your games within the first 10mins?

Searching for people with experience in Rulebook Design - possible Hire

Greetings, topic says it all I guess.

Currently creating a Pen&Paper/BoardGame/PC-FantasyUniverse

with a very defined set of Rules. Specifically I am trying to keep the complete Rulebook in 12 Pages +6 DLC Worldbuilding Pages, so a total of just 18 Pages with very in depth guidelines how to create Detail that only very experienced DungeonMasters could replicate in DnD.

This makes formulating the Rules very hard tho, and puts more pressure on the Design to keep Clarity in a quite stuffed set of Rules.

My partner and I are about 80% done and will check on Fiverr as soon as it's finished, but we wanted to give a Chance to the people in this Group first^^

Let us see some of your previous work and if it fits our style, we can talk about conditions for direct work on our project.

In a bit wider timeframe, we're also looking for design work on a Sample Beastiary and WorldMap, but one step at a time^^

In any case our game is created with 0 AI Influence (aside coming WebsiteCreation) and we want to keep it that way. If anyone feels a calling to work with us, just comment down here and I will eventually respond once we are in the final steps.
