I’m pretty new to carnivorous plants. I got my first one back in October, and I’ve been having good luck with pings so far.

This one was sold to me as Pinguicula ‘Johanna’. It seems healthy and I’m excited because it looks like it’s about to flower, but I’m mostly curious about the leaf color.

When I look up other photos of ‘Johanna’, a lot of them are extremely bright candy-pink across the whole rosette. Mine has some pink, but it’s more salmon/peach/bronze and not nearly as saturated-looking.

My lights are not running at 100% because I’m trying not to cook/melt the plants, so I’m wondering: is this just normal variation / camera saturation / ideal seller photo conditions, or does my plant actually look like it wants more light?

I’m not trying to force it to match edited photos, but I also don’t want to under-light it if ‘Johanna’ should be coloring up more than this. Appreciate any advice from people who grow this one.
