I designed a custom double album package using lenticular printing

I got a bit carried away with this one, it started as an idea to combine two albums into a single release, and turned into a full packaging project.

Designed and printed two booklets, built a double CD case, and experimented with lenticular printing for the front/back covers.

The goal was to recreate that more immersive 'physical' experience where you’ve got something to sit and engage with while listening.

Tried making my own double CD packaging (with a lenticular cover)

I got a bit carried away and ended up designing a full custom CD package, double case, printed booklets, and a lenticular cover for the front/back.

I was aiming for that 80s/90s style 'fatbox' CD experience with something to sit and flick through while listening.

I've never tried making lenticular images before, so a lot of trial and error got me to this stage. It's not perfect, but I'm pleased with how it turned out.

I also documented my process if anyone’s interested / wants to give it a bash themselves:
