If I download a premade sim with cc and the creator used sliders, do I have to add those sliders to my mods folder?

I stumbled across Deepmoon who makes a lot of cool sims with cc. They do use sliders and I have no idea what those are. I was wondering if i absolutely need them in my game in order to play with the sims they make

When can I start adding hot spices to my soups and mashed potatoes?

I am on day 2 of wisdom teeth removal surgery and I’ve been eating lots of lukewarm mashed potatoes and ramen. I’m craving spice so bad right now. I genuinely feel like I’m being tortured omg
