Who would you hire in this scenario: Person A or Person B? (Check desc before answering)

You are an employer for a business and you need to hire one more person for a certain role. Two people apply for the position. Person A and Person B. Here's what you know about them:

Person A: Applied first and their application meets the requirements for the position. However, they look like the majority of people already employed with your business. This will be their first job.

Person B: Applied second, but they also meet all the requirements for the position and look different from Person A and the majority of people working there. They also come from a group that faced oppression in the past in the country when it came to getting jobs. However, they've been in and out of multiple jobs before.

You must send a detailed and honest notice of rejection to the applicant you deny the job opportunity.

"I'm tired Boss"

Yet another example of why I main FFA. And they expect me to be onboard with paying $60+ to experience this on the modern games that are also more annoying to play?

"That's a good one."

[COD] The games just aren't worth $60 or more anymore

I'm not saying this applies to everyone, but for myself I can't see myself paying $60 or even more for a COD again anytime soon.

I've been playing since it's better era before MW19 imo and knowing everything that we had and don't have today and my overall lack of enjoyment with the modern games has caused me to come to the conclusion my $60 or more on a game is better spent elsewhere these days.

I've spoken time and time again about why I don't have fun with the games anymore like I used to. So instead I'll just detail everything we once had that added value into the games that we no longer have for one reason or another.

We had more creative freedom. We used to not only be able to make our own custom emblems, but also late in the franchise's history our own paint jobs for our weapons. As someone who has a creative side, seeing this go away was a huge blow. Yeah it was abused by some idiots to make childish or offensive things. But the game is M rated. If that stuff easily caused you to have a breakdown or something you shouldn't be on these style of games. Also they could have easily implemented a button to block custom content for everyone or specific people. But no, now no one gets to express themselves in that fashion because idiots exist. At least I think this is why it was removed. It could also be people who knew how to effectively used them caused their sales of emblems and camos/weapon variants to go down.

You were actually rewarded for prestiging. I'm not sure of all games where this happened, but in AW you got weapon variants every time you hit a new master prestige level. For example at MP1 you would get let's say an elite BAL-27 variant, at MP2 an elite KF5 variant, MP3 an elite Mors variant, etc. This was the best reward structure for prestiging in the franchise's history. This was also when variants actually changed how the weapon performed, so your hard work was actually rewarded.

We had reasonably priced and/or free cosmetics. DLC Cosmetics used to be $5 or less and apply to every weapon in the game. They weren't $15, $20, $25+ and only applied to certain weapons. Not only that when supply drops were around you could get camos, emblems, calling cards, operator customization, and even weapon variants for free. Yeah yeah, they were implemented horribly because of dupes and people being able to buy the drops and get better variants faster. But if the system had been implemented in it's ideal form it would easily be better than what we have now. Also don't tell me they're just cosmetics. That's not the point. The point is we got more free or reasonably priced and cool cosmetics in the past, so why did that suddenly change and we're expected to go along with it? This franchise isn't being handled by some small indie studio. They're not going to close overnight if they act more generous with this stuff again.

If your argument is "free dlc maps now so they have to make up the costs," that's also bullshit. Unfortunately enough players are still buying overpriced mtxs or preordering the games without seeing much about them because of the name to where they're still sitting pretty despite recent releases not being received greatly as past titles.

Will I get a new COD game again? Perhaps, but it likely won't be me paying full price or more for it. The economy isn't in a great state as of now and people really have to understand the value of their money before making purchases. Buying a new COD at full price or more isn't a good investment if you can't easily see yourself getting more than 500 hours of enjoyment out of the game. That's just my opinion.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to go ahead and dismiss the Hantavirus cruise ship should be held responsible if another pandemic occurs because of it

I don't know who cleared the exit of passengers from a ship where a virus like that was happening and thought it was no big deal, but they need to be held responsible if another C-19 style pandemic happens because of it.

It would be one thing if they cleared the ship and after people started reporting they had it when they arrived home, but they knew while they were on the ship that people had it and didn't care or think ahead enough to hold them onboard until everything got under control.

I hope it's nothing because I and others can't handle all that pandemic bullshit again.

I don't know how many modifiers for the grand race there are where the weather is different, you have to use certain vehicles, etc. But it's not enough for me and I rarely see any interesting ones.

I think we need a lot more to make grand races more interesting and here are some ideas I have. Some of them may be hard to implement or already implemented and people won't like all of them, but I'm still going to suggest them being added:

- Rivalries ( Ferraris & Lamborghinis/ Mustangs & Camaros, etc)

- Heavy Hitters ( Trucks & Suvs only)

- Top Down (Convertibles only)

- Lavish Lifestyle ( Luxury Cars only)

- Big Spender (Cars that cost at least $1 million only)

- The Big Screen ( Cars used in famous movies only)

- Team Mode (14v14)

- Climate Change ( 3 Diverse weather changes From Clear to Rain to Snow in the same race)

- Etc

This is one of those things people constantly bring up, but you really have to show so people understand what you mean.

The first clip is of the survivability in MW2022. The second clip is of the survivability in BO4.

In the MW2022 clip you can see I had no time to react and was dead simply because I exposed myself and didn't shoot first. In the BO4 clip you can see that no matter who shot first both players have a decent amount of time to react and reposition and/or return fire.

That's what I mean when I say modern COD needs more survivability. I much prefer gunfights that take more thought and can be more interesting. I think players should have a chance to respond when being shot at, if this is controversial or makes it sound like I have a "skill issue" that's fine by me. That's just what I consider to make for more fun engagements and makes it easier to go on streaks and be part of less of the spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die, cycles.

I've talked about gameplay time and time again and what needs to be done for me to like it in modern COD games. But there's also something else keeping me and others from enjoying the game. It's the unnecessary complications that came to the game starting in 2019 that make the games less simple to understand.

COD needs to be more simplified and easy to understand/navigate again. Right now there's just too much unnecessary stuff making my head hurt before I even get into a match.

The menus need to be easy to scroll through. No more of this TV streaming service style crap.

When picking a weapon clicking on the weapon should bring up that weapon and any unlocked variants of the weapon. Pressing one button should let you put mods on the weapon and pressing another button should let you put visual customization on the weapon.

It also shouldn't take looking up a YouTube video to make a good weapon build. There doesn't need to be 15+ sights, 10+ grips, 7+ barrels, etc. 3-5 options per weapon mod category is enough. Also no more weapon mod buildcrafting. Every mod should say exactly what it does in simple terms as in what are the pros and cons and that's it. If you don't like that mod, use a different one or don't use one at all in the mod category.

When making maps, we don't need R6S style maps with a bunch of head glitch and pixel peeking spots and dark corners to hide in. This combined with the new engine making it harder to see people just makes for more bullshit encounters. Make maps so most engagements are fair and change whatever is making it hard to see people.

When picking streaks, tell us exactly what the streak does and have a short tutorial video play of an NPC using the streak.

Etc

COD was better when it was simple and easy to understand and didn't feel like navigating the settings menu of a PC.

We really need to do a better job of not falling for propaganda and being played by those in positions of power for their benefit through us.

Something I'll see is someone or some people bringing up how a certain belief is stupid or ignorant, but in their response they'll feed into the belief or similar beliefs knowing or unknowingly and not see a problem with it or the hypocrisy and irony of the situation.

Let's take for example those who talk about "Black Fatigue." Those who profit off of this flawed mentality, do it by selectively picking and choosing cases of POC doing crime or being violent and showing them back to back to back to people to instill in their mind that there must be something off with a group of people. This isn't a new tactic news outlets and politicians have been doing this for decades and more people need to wake up to it.

However, when some people respond to those pushing this propaganda around, they'll see what the person's race is who is talking about "Black Fatigue" and then list off a bunch of bad stuff done by people who look like them and use that to say that their race has a problem.

So basically in response to people purposely selecting individuals from a certain group caught in violent encounters or crimes to spread bigoted propaganda, they'll select individuals from a certain group in violent encounters or crimes to spread bigoted propaganda in return.

This accomplishes nothing for those not in their respective echo chambers and just spreads more division in the world and puts people more at odds with each other.

Another example is people tricking others into believing political violence is a left or right issue. When some individuals insist political violence is a left wing issue because of instances like the recent shooting at the WHCD, others will say "no, it's a right wing issue" and point to something like January 6th 2021, in response people to then say "no, it's a left wing issue" because of the 2020 riots and so on.

Do we see how this is accomplishing nothing and just adding to the Left vs Right division?

There's a better way to respond to these issues and more without falling into the trap of being part of the problem thinking you're the solution.
