Suddenly feeling passed loved ones around when they’ve been gone for years
Hi, I’m really hoping that this post doesn’t get removed because I am not asking for a reading or anything of that sort. If this post is better suited for a different sub, please let me know.
I know that when a loved one is about to pass, they will often see their deceased loved ones in the room and even speak to them. I’ve seen this happen with a friend of mine who passed away in the hospital. She had a lot of this happen a week before she died. But they spoke to her and she knew they were preparing her and that they’d be waiting to take her home.
Lately, my mother has been feeling the presence of her mother, father and sibling. None of these are recent passings. One was back in the 1970s, the other two were in the early mid 2000s. All I know is that she just can feel their presence and know they’re there, but she doesn’t see them when she’s awake. And she has smelled her mother a few times when she’s felt her.
She’s also been having very vivid dreams where she sees them, but they don’t speak to her. In my experience when I’ve had visit dreams, it’s typically shortly after the passing and we do speak a little bit.
I guess I just wanted any opinions on what this means why it’s suddenly happening out of nowhere. She doesn’t meditate but she does believe this is real and I do as well.
Is this a common thing to happen prior to passing away yourself?
Or is it a way that they are suddenly making themselves known to comfort you in a time of need?
I guess I just found it odd, because this is all something that’s new to her. She had a few visit dreams by her father, years ago when he passed away but nothing since.
