Will a recruited athlete hurt my chances of EDing?

Hi! I will be applying to colleges this fall however some of the schools I'm considering EDing to have recruited athletes from my school in my grade to their school. I was just wondering if there being an athlete from the school also in the ED pool will hurt my chances?

Social life for different schools in Boston

Hi! I'm currently a junior in high school and will be applying to colleges in the fall. Boston (especially BC and BU) is for sure a city that I want to attend college in, but I'm somebody that personally struggles a lot making friends without a little bit a help (classes, sports) and I am especially worried about schools that don't have greek like (BC). Can anybody let me know what they think about the level of difficulty of making friends and having a social life at schools in the Boston area?

Questions about Villanova social life

Hi! I'm currently a junior in high school and thinking about where I want to go for college. I'm somebody that doesn't make friends that easily and I feel like I need to be in prolonged contact (classes, sports) with somebody to make any sort of connection. It sounds stupid but social life at the colleges I'm applying to has become a huge aspect for me. Can anybody let me know what they think about Villanova and how easy it is to make friends? I know that there is greek life, but is it cliquey? Can people tend to be spoiled or entitled here?

What are my odds of getting into Boston College?

Hi! Im currently a Junior in high school and for as long as I can remember BC has been my dream school, but I feel like my stats are not up to par with getting in. Can anybody let me know if they think I have any odds getting in ED? And if not, what I can possibly do to raise my odds?

My school uses a 100 scale and I have a 95/96 GPA

My ACT currently is a 33 however that was my first one and I'm planning on retaking and hopefully getting a 34/35!

I will have taken 9 APs by senior year. 4 on AP Psych, 5 on AP World, this year I took AP Bio, APUSH, and AP Lang, and I predict I got a 5 on both APUSH and Bio and I'm not sure about lang yet, and then next year I'm taking AP Gov, AP Micro, AP Lit, and AP Calc AB. Im also taking three dual enrollment classes, Anatomy and Physiology, Spanish, and Intro to health professions. I don't have that many honors, (English honors grades 9 and 10, Spanish honors grade 10, and then I dropped Spanish honors this year (will this effect my odds?))

For extracurriculars, I have done cheer for all four years, I was JV Captain Sophomore year before getting pulled up for the winter season, and I am likely to be Varsity captain next year. I've raised 300+ (potentially more) for cheer as well and have a lot of leadership activities from this. I also participate in Challenger cheer(Cheer for students with disabilities) and am trying to initiate it into my high school (Its currently only in the middle school)

I am a volunteer at a center for disabilities near me

I have been a camp counselor for two summers

I am president of my schools Women in stem club and I am secretary for my schools filmmaking club

I did a summer program learning about Health professions, where I learned how to suture and earned my BLS certificate

I am also a volunteer at a free healthcare clinic

I am joining my local church youth ministry (is this too late? does it even matter at this point)

Me and my friend are working to establish a Challenger carnival (not sure how to explain this but an event for students with disabilities at our school)

I am not on board for one of my schools club, but me and my friend have made an extension through this club to create a mentoring program (its a leadership club)

I'm currently raising money for cancer and have raised 500+ and will hopefully have raised more by the end of the year

I am apart of my schools Social Studies honors society and will likely be in Spanish, Science, and National honor society by the end of last year

I'm working on my seal of biliteracy this summer

I am also trying to become a junior firefighter with my local fire department and will hopefully take EMT classes through that and become a registered EMT by the fall

I'm sorry I know this is a lot to read and I lot of these extracurriculars are things started this year/havent been established yet! if you've taken the time to read this thank you so much and please let me know your thoughts! I'm planning on majoring in Bio or Education, not sure yet
