As the title suggests, the Threads app won't open when I click on it's icon, triggering the toast message on the pic. However, when I click open on Threads using my app store, it loads just fine. I just couldn't click clear cache on it through the recents menu because it disappears from recents when I swipe and hold. I tried to clear cache via the Settings app, then uninstalled/reinstalled. Both of them didn't work. It still pops that message up unless I open through the Play Store (or a third party app store).
