Electric dirt bikes are becoming a serious safety problem in our community, especially at Clark's Creek Park trails and other community parks/trails (Pipeline Trail, Swan Creek Park, etc.) If you are a parent/guardian and you purchase an e-moto for your child, please do not allow them to ride these in places where they are prohibited.

What can we do to advocate for safety on the Scott Pierson trail? The homeless camps blocking the trail/tunnel are seemingly permanent. I contact the city, they blame WSDOT. No one does anything. Crossing 19th to avoid the camps in the tunnel is even more dangerous as the cross walk doesn't have flashing lights and drivers don't stop.
People and families biking, walking, or rolling deserve better.
Just curious has anyone moved their family to Bentonville or NW Arkansas for access to easy mountain biking and cycling culture overall? I work remote and have lived in WA state my entire life. The trails here are excellent, but it is such a chore to get to and from the trails with Seattle area traffic. Long drives and traffic to Tiger, North Slope, Galbraith, etc. I also love gravel and bike riding in general. I'd rather ride than drive, especially with gas prices so high.
I have kids and limited time to get out and ride so convenience and a community that values riding is huge. Most of our extended family has relocated to Arkansas and we're the only ones left here in WA. Any thoughts are appreciated!
How is the area for gravel routes? What are some of your favorite options? Do you have to ride dangerous highways to access gravel riding? Thanks for any info!
Just curious. Of all the places you could live in the region, why do you choose to live in Puyallup, WA?
There are many things about Puyallup that are not great: traffic, no bike lanes, few trails, lacking sidewalks, big box stores everywhere, etc.
Trying to find the positive.
