Sir Eardwulf was a low-born knight who rose up in King Leland’s court thanks to his skill and chivalrous bearing. Betrayed by those jealous of his perceived influence on the King, he appears before the party as rotting body holding his own head, with a spirit of green and blue mist merged with the corpse.
