I recently bought a gaming desktop with an Asrock 850gold+ PSU.

Given that we're approaching the time of year when a lot of air conditioners are running, we often have power outages here (both from my family's careless use and from the building).

I was thinking of getting a UPS to connect the monitor and the new gaming desktop. Is it worth it?

If yes or no, I have a few dilemmas:

1. My socket has a 16A Italian plug, not a Schuko plug for the UPS. I'm currently using this BTicino power strip https://amzn.eu/d/0cTASQnm and I’ll buy another one just in case if necessary. I’m not sure if I should ask an electrician to change the socket to a Schuko (at least one plug).

2. Would you recommend just buying the power strip or should I just go for the UPS? If yes, what brands or direct UPS do you recommend?

Recentemente ho comprato un desktop da gaming con PSU Asrock 850gold +.

Dato l'avvicinarsi del periodo dell'anno in cui moltissimo condizionatori sono accesi, spesso qui manca la corrente ( sia per l'uso sconsiderato da parte dei miei che quelli del palazzo).

Avevo intenzione di comprare una UPS per attaccarci il monitor e il nuovo desktop da gaming. Ne vale la pena?

Se si o no , ho vari dilemmi:

1. Il mio socket ha una presa 16A italiana, non una presa shucko per l' UPS. Attualmente uso questa Ciabatta BTicino https://amzn.eu/d/0cTASQnm e ne comprerò un'altra per evenienza se necessaria. Non so se a sto punto chiedere a un elettricista di cambiarmi il socket a Shucko ( almeno una presa)

2. Mi consigliate solo comprare la ciabatta o a questo punto buttarmi sull'UPS? Se si che marche o UPS diretti consigliate?

I recently am trying to buy my first desktop computer. I am a computer science student, but on the hardware side I do not enjoy building PCs so much. I discovered that there is this option on the Alienware at this price ( 2600 l' ish ) for RX5070. Though I see some people can find 5080 in other countries ( but in Italy it is very hard)

What do you suggest to do if I want to use it for studying / gaming? Though I don't need loads of power as I have a 1440 oled monitor 360Hz and I do not have to replace it, nor I play it at 120 FPS maximum.
