I'm not sure I understand this

I am nine years into having progressively worsening cystocele, uterine, and rectocele prolapses. I have tried pelvic floor therapy and multiple styles and sizes of pessaries. I finally caved and said ok to surgery and was sent to a uro-gynecologist. I had the evaluation today and they said while I'm laying on my back the rectocele is not so bad but the bladder is worse than I reported. Yeah there is a difference between me laying down and me sitting up the reverse would have been true if I was laying on my stomach and weirder if in my side. Yes, things just flip around in there. So I have to go back in six months of literaly doing what I've been doing for nine years and they are demanding I get a colonoscopy first. Why do I need a colonoscopy? The guy, office doesn't have a female, said it's because the prolapse isn't as bad as colon cancer.

I'm not worried about colon cancer I'm worried about the fact that I can't go for a walk without my insides falling out and being pinched by my fat thighs or coughing without having to push my organs back in or having to use a splint to take a shit. Yes fine cancer is big but I have no markers or family history for it.

Help, opinions, thoughts?
